DreamTrees rated Super Chillers: The Chat Room

DreamTrees rated a game 1 year ago
A downloadable game for Windows.

As a huge fan of R.L. Stine and pixel graphics, I was psyched to see this game. Already it looks amazing, I enjoyed that the puzzles weren't too hard or required bizarre logic to get the items. I also really like the portraits, I really hope they stay because they're very well done and give a really nice look in combination with the pixel graphics. Overall an awesome demo, and I'm looking forward to the full release!

[Spoilers below]

The only downside would be the bugs I experienced, which I didn't include in the rating since as a demo it makes sense to see some bugs. Bugs I experienced: After using the CD and phone cord successfully, I was able to get these items again in the storeroom. I was very confused by the flier, because I had already been able to get into the storeroom with the code using 2 smiley faces. In fact trying to use the code with 6 smiley faces didn't work. In the back room, hovering over the Halloween poster brings up the text 'Police'. After the stalker kills the player character, I was able to get into the settings menu, then return to the game. The PC stood up (blood was still on the front desk), and could walk around. The stalker was chilling in the corner. Then I went into the backroom, came back out, and she got stuck in a cutscene eternally walking into the front desk.
