I'm an unconditional lover of this novel. I love coming back to it, rereading it and, above all, listening to its incredible soundtrack. I'm a big fan of Blade Runner, Cyberpunk, synthwave etc. and this novel being very heavily inspired by Blade Runner, I can't help but love it, so much so that some of the music played in it has ended up in my audio library! That said, it's not without its flaws, and these will put off people who aren't super receptive to this kind of universe, such as the fact that the hot scenes are far from great, some of the love interests are uninteresting, and the ending leaves us a little hungry. Despite being my favorite novel, objectively speaking it's still about average for the genre, but it's still a good experience that should be given a chance. In my heart of hearts, it's a five-star novel because I accept its shortcomings, but if I had to be objective, it'd be somewhere between 3 and 4 stars.
