I thought I'd love this game. It's from my favorite genre, and the art is great.
My biggest issue with this game is that it leans too much on the element powers and the throwing system, both of which have huge problems. For the elements, the ordering isn't intuitive, so it's impossible to pick the right one in a pinch. For the throwing system, the joystick aiming is too imprecise and frequently misses the displayed trajectory. On top of that, the fact that most throwing objects have way too small of capacities means that it's easy to get stuck in a puzzle because, for example, the ten or so sticky fruit you had all went the wrong way. Finally, leveling can't be used to cover these issues in battle, since the leveling system is ridiculously grindy. By the end of the game both my attack and defense were withing 3 times what they were when I started.
Overall it started okay, but by the end it was an irritating experience.
