The Woods is probably my favourite short story from you. Self-contained, plausibly deniable horror that straddles the line between real and unreal, with a cast of kids and kids-no-longer that I feel like I grew up with. I really appreciate the glimpse you gave us into Jewish day camp, and all the little touches you add to Eyal and Lee's interactions that make them feel like-- well-- like two scared kids in an impossible woods that only have eachother.
