So far I am enjoying it. The pros I have for this game are:
1) Cast size - there are a respectable number of characters to speak to, and there is a variety of styles in terms of character language. Although I must add that even the "chubby" appears physically fit. Chubby chasers, look elsewhere.
2) Character design - I will not be coy; the characters are nice to look at. I must share the artist's taste in 2D women, because I was not disappointed by any of the portraits (except a bit of annoyance when they called a fit looking person "chubby", though that was a moral annoyance rather than a horny one).
3) Plenty of art - In the first chapter alone I was happy with the amount of art on display (a small disclaimer below). I had assumed that all of the talking would be done through portraits, but the artist provided many alternative angles for specific scenes that kept things interesting aesthetically speaking (when the mom brings in sandwiches for example). It's a small detail but its abcsense can ruin the experience.
I also must point out some issues:
1) Use of AI - The use of AI as a tool is not inherently bad, but it becomes pretty noticeable that the backgrounds at least were taken straight from AI image generation tools without modifications. I am relatively confident that the character models themselves are drawn (or at least corrected manually), since they do remain consistent between poses, and the characters do not set off any uncanny valley concerns when they are on screen.
2) Stalking - I find it funny that there is a content warning for blackmail, but the main character ("Rick") engages in stalking behaviour as if it was totally fine. This may already be a deal-breaker for some people, but for me personally this really hinders my engagement with the story when Rick informs the coach to their face that they stalked them online through the dark-web, but she doesn't mind because he was only doing it to disprove some rumours. Now I may be a cis, straight (and might I add handsome) male, but even I would be creeped out if someone, even someone I trusted, came up to me and asked if it was true that I used to do something six years before we met. No sane person would so easily dismiss such a grave invasion of privacy, so a character not only not minding but even continuing to trust the stalker is immensely immersion breaking.
3) "Incest" - This may be a controversial point, but why bother putting an incest warning in the beginning if one of the first in game events is to have some random schmuck appear out of nowhere to inform you that you are not related by blood to any of the available women? I get that there is still the taboo of getting your step sister to jack you off, but that is not what I was expecting when I read the word "incest". I am not shy (in comments), I kind of like the incest kink in porn, so this kind of subversion is just annoying.
Otherwise, I am interested in following this visual novel's progress.
