A downloadable asset pack.

My last review complained about the lack of cohesion between assets from this creator. Ultimately I ended up accepting the fact I'd have to use parallax mapping with my project if I wanted to use what I paid for.

I can admit when I am wrong and I am willing to eat crow on this one. After spending a couple of days learning about parallax mapping I was able to do it just fine and may be my preferred way of mapping now.

However, due to how this asset was designed and how it all clicks together it isn't a 1:1 experience. Things like doorways will have to be adjust to fit player movement as a single doorway is centered between two spaces, if your project doesn't have pixel based movement and instead moves on a grid like RPG Maker, you'll have to shift some of these things.

As far as furnishings go, the product page gives you a great idea on how the tiles will work together but it isn't until after you start working with them you begin to realize how limited it can also be.

You'll basically get three sets of re-colored furniture. There's very little décor for walls and the selection of furniture styles is limited. I found myself looking at other assets I have already purchased from Palacio to try and make it more complete.

This is when I made a realization, there was a shift in style or management of the art, so earlier asset packages may not mesh well with this one due to sizes or designs. Some work well while others are just incompatible.

I want to stress this, I like the art, I think the artist is a quality producer of assets, their prices are reasonable, which is why I continue to support them. I just kind of wish they'd focus on a specific theme and then work on filling that out instead of releasing random stuff or things the community picked.

Anyways, updated the review to reflect how I feel about it.
