I initially bounced off this game after a few hours because I didn't quite understand how to make progress i it. I spent a lot of my money on getting ready for dungeons but failed to realise that's not the focus. I came back to it maybe a year later and read some snippets of guides which gave me a better understanding of what to focus on, and once I did that I really enjoyed myself. The game really makes you feel like a small and insignificant part of this world, and the world feels like there's all sorts of things hidden in it, even they aren't actually there. Unfortunately for me, I somehow managed to lose or misplace a tile piece, so I am unable to complete the game, so I can only give it 4 stars because I don't know how it ends.
My one complaint about this game is how easy it is to get lost sometimes or to forget where certain people are. Even several hours in and knowing which arrows lead where I was still getting lost at times. Not saying a traditional map is necessarily the way to go, as I think getting lost in the city is part of the point, but perhaps some additions to make it slightly easier to figure out where to go might be useful for future games like this.
