For the most part, I do like the direction where the story is heading. But from the end of the 3rd chapter onward, it feels like there are too many dramatic scenes happening immediately one after another. This constant barrage is very off-putting, and I feel that the story would benefit if they were spaced out more in between calmer scenes. That way, the reader has more of a chance to absorb what is happening.
