Didn't get to play this during the May wolf jam, but i was intrigued by the banner art and the premise.
-Sprite work does the job, but is a little inconsistent, I do like the assets for the card game itself
-I really liked the opening to the game. The interaction with the cashier and Jack's inner monologue gives us a good idea of his character. I felt that the other character introductions felt smooth as well, and the premise for the game was something I haven't quite seen in a VN before...it honestly felt like an episode of Kakegurui ( a good thing!). I was on the edge of my seat, and although I forsaw part of the outcome, it was a thrilling and well-explained game.
Looking forward to the next update. With a bit of polish on the graphics, I think this VN could hit it out of the park
