The art is good, the concepts for monsters and setting are interesting, but the story is very one note, there is very little in the way of suspense, even it the story seems to think, it has it, characterization is rushed, you learn much about characters by convenient and bland exposition, there's very little personality to the  dialogue, it has a lack of fluidity in almost all of it's scenes, emotional notes are played too similarly, and they bring each other down.
