This game is dead. It's not been updated in 18 months.

Someone asked the dev if the game was still in development 8 months ago (The most recent sub-thread in the comments). He replied that he had "a few things left to finalize, and the next update was imminent.

Two days ago (8/15/24), I noticed that there had never been an update after the above mentioned statement, I sarcastically asked the dev how he was coming with those few final details. And then I asked him if he has a Patreon, and flat out told him that he's a scammer if the answer is "yes." On the other hand, I told him that if the answer is "no," then the game is dead.

The dev replied to me that he "had just a few details to finish, and then the next update would be released in the next few weeks." 

He told me that he does not have a Patreon account, so he's not a scammer. I didn't check up on his honesty, because I don't really give a fuck about this game. You can verify his integrity yourself if you so choose.

I told him that telling me the same thing that he had said 8 months ago was NOT confidence inspiring. And that keeping silent, only to pop up once a year to make empty promises without ANY content, was the surest mark of a scammer or dead project.

He replied back that he wasn't a scammer, and that he needed to live, and work, and blah, blah, blah. You've all heard the excuses of the dev's that are just dicking around with development.

When I replied that I was well aware of how life worked. What with being an RN for more than 30 years. I had missed half of all the holidays that my children ever had. As well as trips. And memories. And all kinds of other events with my family because I had an OBLIGATORY JOB, and couldn't simply wait for world peace before actually getting to work.

Well, the dear dev, turned off the comments, rather than face an uncomfortable truth. It's not surprising. That is the way of the 21st century.

The strange part about is that the very last thing I said to him was "that most people are forgiving if people are sincere. But that silence equates to scammer, not sincerity. And that he seemed like a decent and articulate enough person to convey his thoughts to his fans." (The dev actually gave that statement a thumbs-down before he turned off comments.)

Feel free to download what little content is there, but I wouldn't get invested in these characters if I was you. (I didn't even waste my time with it) It's unlikely to get an update EVER, and the dev has circled the wagons and removed themself from any accountability at all.
