I usually don't comment on much of anything, but after running HUNT for my group, I feel like it changed my entire view on how I run games. I've only ever run D&D 5e because it's the system I know best. HUNT actually gave not only my players, but me, as the DM, to be allowed to say "fuck it, it's cool, do it"
Those are the best moments when I'm in any kind of TTRPG session, and it's always baffled me why there's so many rules that just say no, you can't. I'm in love with the fact the LUMEN 2.0 system says instead, "yes, you can, BUT..."
I know what I want for my games. I want the players to feel empowered, badass, and cool, but still weight the costs of their decisions. I want my players to feel engaged with their character, instead of scanning their multitudes of abilities and calculating to hit rolls and modifiers. Overall, I'm really glad I picked this up, and I think my group is looking to play some more in the future.
