Mixed feelings on this game. It's very short. Like 10 minute game short. For the subject matter, I think it should be explored or expressed more thoroughly. But it is free and from an indie dev, so there is that. OTOH, there are also other free indie games that also tackle more mature themes that have a more satisfying conclusion. "How we know we're alive," does this. The idea and concept is certainly there, and the pixel art is cute, but I'd just like to see a little more effort. Also there were some grammatical errors and if you hit the space bar on accident it looks like the developer commands pop up in a window.
