In a village deep in the Forest, though not that deep in in practice if you trust the locals, the women-folk have been disappearing one by one. One of the kidnapped women's husband has had enough, and his cry for help has given Doctor Thornhill a reason to continue his investigations into the Forest. Even with his particular set of skills, he'll begin to learn why they spell the Forest with a capital 't'....

Good story, but I feel like it's too short for its own good. Definitely needed more meat on the bone, so to speak. Still worth taking a look at though.
