amazing pixel artwork, soundtrack surprisingly good, funny as hell, amazing parody of the genre that doesnt feel overly cruel or preachy - clearly the developer holds a lot of respect and love for JRPGs while still being able to poke fun at them

i loved the ending the most. my jaw dropped when the airship (spaceship?) showed up. my favorite running gag was the reused scorpion sprite.
