I was drawn to it by the beautiful art and the title reference. I couldn't possibly expect such a gem, for free even. Nuanced and delicate writing, an unbelievable amount of animations, great settings. Loved the references I could catch. An inspiring piece of art, one that I could only remotely aspire to match. Loved the references I could catch: the guardian reminded me of Annihilation, possibly Twin Peaks (the audio when crossing the mirror), a bit of the silent hill otherworld, and somehow the librarian reminded me of the beginning of Planescape Torment.
