A single level low-polygon demake of the survival horror classic Dead Space. It includes abridged videos from the game. Controls really well with dual stick movement + shooting. Alternate shooting to swap your cutter from vertical to horizontal, which is highly recommended as the gimmick of this game is removing limbs of undead alien necromorphs.

The big fear with this version of the game is lack of a save function. You can still collect health from the ground and then use it later from your inventory. Nothing is really explained beyond a gamepad schematic which is still a giant help.

Other frills include cryomancy to slow time that recharges. You'll use it to slow enemies and hazards. It will also be used to solve a puzzle.

This is a great fan game that still includes the dread of turning a corner with an over-the shoulder camera. There's good atmosphere, but lesser atmosphere than the original game.
