Unironically love this game. If the lewd elements weren't baked into the fundamentals of the game i'd go so far as to say it's worth checking out just for the writing quality alone (not that I dislike the combat system, QUITE the opposite lol. It's insane how well the devs managed to work in an explanation for the eroge elements of the setting and mechanics!). It's DEFINITELY the most committed i've seen of any eroge - even the most popular RPG eroges (Ex: Corruption of Champions) usually have a degree of framing the erotic elements and traditional video game elements as distinct rather than intertwined, but MHD does a fantastic job of bridging that by making the sexual elements fundamental to the gameplay. It's both really impressive from a design standpoint and frankly it makes it so much hotter from a...certain other standpoint.

If i had to give personal critique,  while i understand both indie development and the in-game premise has a degree of limitation regarding these things (given how, again, the sexual elements are fundamental to the game's design), I still really hope there's eventually some more LGBT+ type content included. MLM, Intersex, FemC, etc. Given the game's structure though I get why these things would be a significant increase in potential workload, particularly having a cis-female protagonist ("SMITE THEM WITH YOUR DICK!" and all that). I do very much appreciate that the community is open to the idea based on mods I've seen, but of course that itself highlights the issue when the bisexuality mod is no longer compatible with the current version. If that sort of thing gets added as part of the base game then it'll eliminate that issue and probably encourage further adding to that kind of content!

TLDR: Came for the hot monster designs, stayed for the writing that absolutely sucker punched me with laughs, feels, and worldbuilding, and I ideally one day i'll be able to suck as well as get sucked
