An insane number of options in a lovely, sweet story. In the end, though, it's a Barbie doll version of life. Despite an almost obsessive regard for every gender variant, and a 21st-century setting, this is a 1950s sitcom populated with characters who have yet to discover that they have genitals. Not that I'm suggesting that a game that isn't focused on genitalia isn't worth playing; rather that too many times it feels like the people who made this have never met a teenager in their lives. If sweet, sanitised romance is your thing, this is definitely worth playing; but there will be times when it doesn't ring true (unless, perhaps, you come from a religiously-restrictive background, in which case this game isn't for you anyway, as it offers homosexuality! And gender dysphoria!). The free base game provides a thoroughly decent amount of content, but if you enjoy that, it's definitely worth investing in the DLC.
