Bought it on Steam as part of some kind of cheapy bundle thing, if you want a straight-up Starfox 1 clone, this is it. I love playing with the 15/20 FPS cap and the SNES screen res.

Downside is that it's WAY faster than actual SF sometimes, so playing at 20 FPS means you'll get hit by everything.

Also fuck all the homing shots, feels like 90% of the enemies in this game have homing shots that track you way too well, so half the combat is just flying in a big O so you don't get hit as much. There's a squid boss that, like, fuck, the damn thing has so much homing that if the homing shots miss, they'll come right back around behind you and hit your rear end from off-screen.

The game's also super short with like 8 stages and 8 secret areas, each stage is only like 5 minutes long at most.

I can forgive the shortness since it's an SF clone and meant to be a really arcade-y game AND it's in early access, but I had to ding the rating to 4 stars because of the supreme overreliance on homing shots from enemies.
