The wonderful presentation aside I enjoyed most of the characters arcs, the variety of topics tackled in the narrative and exploring the different locations. I also was pleased to see representation of all kinds of people. I wish more games had sidequests with this level of care as in this game.
The combat system has some great fundamentals, I especially liked the milestone based leveling instead of classic XP. I'm usually not a fan of skill trees but having the tree quite small with no-downside respeccing made me engage with it more as I did in any other game. I frequently allocated my points to reach a specific talent that was useful right now, but I knew I would go down a complete other route once I got the next skill point. That being said, it's a shame that all battles are so extremely easy and a single baseline strategy worked all the way to the end. (I could very quickly do one round of setup to then basically two or three round most bosses due to Verm's ridiculous damage output).
