By modern standards, there are certainly better options for games inspired by Princess Maker, but this holds a special place in my heart. The pixel art is very cute, as are the art for the ending cards! Some of the art, like most of the in-game portraits, are *very* ugly, and while I personally see it as charming it is objectively bad. The writing isn't fantastic, but it's passable. Game mechanics are standard and pretty simple, but there are no *exact* guides on how to achieve endings, so be aware that you may find yourself getting stuck if you try to get 100% completion. TLDR; this is an old, kind of jank game, but I can't help but love it. If you have a soft spot for early 2000's projects made by weaboos and like management sims, give it a shot! There are much more polished games like this out there, though, and it may have little else to offer than nostalgia for modern audiences,
