Playtested this with the author and it's really good!! 

Genuinely a feat in itself to design all the hero backgrounds so well that they gel into teams  with a straight comic-book-feel.

(Also the different damage types for different types of energy blast/weapon are really great and I will definitely be used in my vanilla Troika! games.)
