MindlessFool rated Lilith's Nursery

A downloadable game.

Decent concept, interesting idea. Too difficult, in my opinion. The level design, and the placement of certain game elements made it more of a challenge than necessary, reducing the fun. The peek into the backstory of SoD was enlightening, though...leaving more questions than answers at the end of the day. One last issue I had—and a big one, as drawbacks go—is that the UI was difficult to figure out and make use of. The "Shop" icon was in the same space as the dialogue (and portraits); the Esc key went into the inventory instead of pausing (which, I realized, was likely intentional, but ended up being detrimental, because what if you need to get up mid-wave?!) and added to the difficulty indirectly. If you're in the inventory, or the shop, you can't move sideways; only vertically. A lot of good, and more than enough to balance the bad until I got through the main game, but Endless mode seems glitched, since I got to a certain wave, and no enemies spawned.
