A very engaging, mysterious story that leaves much to be pondered. Henry and the central theming of the lake through the name, supernatural activity, and writing were impeccable. My only gripes would be leading the player into Hugo's backstory but never receiving much context and a clue about Hugo being able to either sense more supernatural activity or interact with it never quite being addressed and leaving the audience a bit confused. Besides this I loved the cast of the game, especially the supporting cast who, though with very little dialogue, still managed to have a distinguishable and long lasting impression on the player. The art style is very unique and pleasing even across games from the same studio and the pacing is done in a naturally engaging way as well. One of my favorite visual novels so far.
