The game is rather polished for a first run Alpha release. Has a few aspects to fix, but is a solid shooter game. The core game mechanic works very well. Very stable on my 32 bit Windows 8.1 PC.  Getting the power up and extra shield powerups are fun. If you manage to fill the meter for unlocking the powerful secondary attack, be sure to save it until you face the boss.
