hello girl manages to fit in its 2-3 hours what i like most in visual novels that are usually much longer, a sense of daily rhythm, getting to know characters gradually over time through small actions towards one another. the artwork is charming and pleasant in many little ways- sprite changes, overlays, etc and the music does an excellent job of setting the mood, not to mention the sound and visual effects. it contains rumblings of something bigger, something that makes me feeling like i want more rather than feeling like i missed out.
