Positives:
I am in LOVE with the visual presentation!
The art style is gorgeous and nothing looks out of place.
The sound design is also very nice, I appreciate the fact the insects actually buzz AROUND me.
I also appreciate the little details like the mirrors and the evil-world's figure caught me off-guard.
It's a little detail, but I like how Mita has different idle animations depending on if you are looking at her for a while or not.
The playing with it being a game as part of the story and level design is also very interesting and leads to consistent "ooh" moments when it is just a lot of fun.
Negatives:
I do wish it was possible to change the controls, or at least see an overview of what they are, I was mashing every key I could think of to open the doors only to realise I was an idiot and you just had to walk into them.
Also, Mita often puts ) or ( for no apparent reason, sometimes in place of punctuation that SHOULD be there.
...Actually, there are some cases where the English is very rough.
It's not a massive issue, but when Mita leads you through the house, she turns in a very video-game-esque way which feels weird for how deliberate the rest of the video-gamey aspects are handled, with the animation itself not being one of the things that was shortcutted.
Other / finishing comment:
I was kinda sad that at the end of the demo I couldn't just say yes, but I get that it was for the flashy credits transition.
I am very much excited for the full game.
