Really great demo! I have this bookmarked to follow and loved what I saw so far.

The premise pulled me in immediately, and so far the story seems intriguing. (Demo goes up to shortly after the first investigation.) 

Of course, MC "Mae" was my favorite part, as she was cool and collected, but so refreshingly snarky. I loved that we could be rude - though I honestly have no idea if those options are just for flavor or are actually important with regards to raising affection. It was fun to talk back to a guy being rude or put someone in their place who was disrespecting our station as a former-policewoman-turned-detective. I also LOVED being able to toggle her hat and monocle LMAO. Such a clever and cute addition. I personally just put the monocle on, as it gave her such an air of gravitas :P

The writing was also really, really good. It evoked Agatha Christie (but with snark!) and the dialogue was flavorful. Pacing seems good as well, though I'm curious how they'll work around the deadline of MC only staying the weekend, given that the first investigation happens on Day Two.

As for the guys, I personally really liked flirty "muffin" James and sweet, clever Adrian. Blake and Nick are also intriguing, so definitely not ruling them out either. Love the sprites and character designs :)

All in all, looking forward to more!
