Yeah, I might like HoL. Ignore the 2 HoL campaigns, art contributed in the handbook, and multitude of player characters I've created for the system behind my back.

In all seriousness, it's good shit. A lightweight good fire emblem feel system that knows what to drop and what to keep from the games to help things play better, feel better, and run better. Lots of stuff is here to run from, and also plenty to expand upon if making new skills, items, or mechanics is your thing.
