A downloadable game for Windows.

A solid stealth platformer with tight gameplay and a beautiful art style.

To start, the robot is extremely easy to control which is absolutely essential in a game centered around platforming. Whenever I died I always knew it was due to my own actions rather then poor controls when I was jumping around. The levels all felt distinct and were well designed. I didn't get stuck once during my play through which is an admirable feat for any platformer to achieve. The main ranged weapon felt pretty weak but I give that a pass due to the focus of the game clearly being the stealth and the movement rather then the action, and due to the tightness of the controls I was almost always able to sneak by enemies no problem. I rarely felt like I had no choice but to fight the common enemies which is once again a testament to the quality of the games controls. The art style of this game is absolutely gorgeous and distinct. Everything from the levels to the bosses to even the projectiles looked sleek, stylized, and different from any other game I have played. In terms of visuals this game looks like it could belong on a console, seriously, however much the art team got paid they didn't get paid enough. The art sucked me in from the very beginning and elevated the entire experience. In terms of criticism, I would say that while the weakness of the player characters move-set was mostly acceptable it became an issue during the boss fights. Because the bosses had much more health then the normal enemies the fights tended to be a bit too bloated and they weren't nearly challenging enough to make the bloat interesting. The time stop ability was borderline useless as it slowed me down as well as the enemies and thus only accomplished slowing the game to crawl for a few seconds. These gripes are fairly minor however and didn't ruin the game by any means. This was still a fun and satisfying game to beat overall and I might come back to it one day, if for no other reason then to take another gander at the games visuals.
