I went into this game during a time where I had some sort of addiction to walking sims. I had played a lot of bad or unenjoyable walking sims and I got this game in a bundle and thought I'd give it a shot just based on the premise of being alone in an empty mall. What I didn't expect is for this game to have such a big impact on me. It could've easily have felt pretentious or shallow like other walking sims do but instead, I felt like the devs knew exactly what they were doing. It's a meditative experience and allows you to reflect on yourself. This'll definitely become a game I replay every now and then with The Beginners Guide, Firewatch, Everybody's Gone to The Rapture and What Remains of Edith Finch. And the fact that it holds it's own up there with all these other games says enough.
