Honestly, the moment it came out, this book became part of the first package i sent to new players. The bonds system and new out-of-mech rules are SO good. Though if you're new to Lancer, definitely play with other frames before the ones in this book, they benefit from some experience with the game... but they are amazing, too. Some of Massif's best work.
