Pretty fun, as far as a minimum viable product goes. A few small thoughts I had:
- you should probably remove the weird pause at the end of a dash, it ends up making any dash-centric movement feel unrefined and stilted.
- on the map design side of things (assuming that I'm right that the grey blocks are meant to eventually disappear, if not this is a moot point) You might want to reduce the amount of grey block clusters, since it will end up creating a massive amount of places to explore. Having like 3 to 5 big spots open up whenever those blocks disappear will probably make the player more likely to remember any important spots.
- the spawn room looks great, and I'm honestly super excited to see how the rest of the map ends up looking.
