Wow, just WOW. I don't know what makes Caribdis so different but they just have a way of making their games so unbelievably good. Calling this an adult game or an eroge or hentai or any other terminology you want to use just does not do it justice, and calling it art feels so prudish and yet still doesn't make me feel like it captures what Once in a Lifetime is. The storyline is interesting and engaging, all the characters are fleshed out really well, and every one of the sex scenes are fantastic. The normal interactions and reactions of characters are so much fun, they somehow feel very natural while still being weird or flirty or funny. So rarely do I play games like this for plot, but truth be told, for me at least, this was just as good, as addicting as my favorite books. Plain and simple really this game is pure magic, the combination of everything that Caribdis has done here so well individually, they somehow or other bring together seamlessly to create an experience that is nothing short of magical.
