This is an amazing project. I never thought I could recommend a Gameboy game engine to both novices and experienced devs. The limits of the target device force creativity. Every bit is precious. But the GB Studio engine, documentation and community will get you through most bottle necks. The speed of development from idea to finished ROM is remarkably quick.

The only thing that is a completely different world for me is the tracker music but even that is getting special quality of life tools and example projects.

Try and make a game with this, you might be shocked at how smooth the experience is.
