This was hard to read, not in a bad way, but in a... Well, you conveyed the feelings of being trapped in a horrible cycle of abuse so well, it was a painful read. The repeated events of her day to day life over time blending together, the hopelessness which she 'gives in' at the end of the day, because it's 'what couples do', it was a painful journey to her finding the strength to love herself and break out of that cycle. A painful journey really effectively told, it felt... horrifyingly real.
