The How to Play section made me understood this is not a racing focused game and something more close to a cab driver experience where everyone would want to talk.
But the game made talking while driving an unnecessary burden, much more than it actually could be -- your passengers won't try to interrupt you while you are trying to chase someone. This game, characters in the game won't care. They need to just keep talking regardless of outcomes of a previous topic, and your character does that too.
Then the topic the characters throw feel so forced. It had to be around someone obsessed with witnessing an UFO, weird greetings based on references I have no idea of, unnecessary men insulting, and involving political talks and pushing one side over the other side.
After I survived all of them and still playing, a random character appeared and suggested a "challenge" you can't really have a choice to refuse. The character's car goes faster than the speed your car on 'acceleration' can go, and after a very long "race" involving lots of irresponsible crashes from that car and your car, suddenly the challenge is ended, The character starts insulting you in various ways then steals your car. Your character says a challenge is a challenge. And now you have no car. This felt going way too much of forcing the story.
I don't play games to only feel like getting spitted on and mugged. The last I expected from a seemingly top-down racing game is this. And the game delivered it perfectly.
