Five stars. Hands. Down. Probably one of my favorite visual novels around. The story is incredible- the overarching plotline isn't hard to guess, but it's still a wild ride. Vexx and Damon were my main romance targets, and their routes are fantastic and frustrating (emotionally) and deliciously dramatic. I got incredibly invested in both of them and only cried a little when I realized the next chapter wouldn't be around for a while. Their backstories and personalities are incredibly well built and give so much person-hood to their actions. All the other characters are absolutely brilliant, even not as romance targets- they still have weight as their own characters and I got to know and care for them as friends even in my fervent pursuit of my horrid angst men. Lastly, the art in this game is fantastic. The character designs are wonderful, their expressions and independent images are so endearing, and the backgrounds make you live and breathe the world you've been thrust into. Top marks in all fields. Please let me marry my boys.
