Pretty great game that seemed to go under most people's radars. If you like meta games, well here's one for you. TBH I was expecting a lot more creative uses of the whole meta-theme, and I was expecting it to be a lot scarier (though I'm glad there were very very few, if any, jumpscares). This game also feels a bit too long (something I rarely say about a game). Like, this took me multiple hours to beat, not because I got stuck or anything, it's just a long game. Speaking of which, the boss fights in this game were needlessly long and did not feel well designed. Every boss fight basically boils down to simply holding shift and running laps around the perimeter of the room until the fight is over. Most bosses have multiple kinds of attacks, but 99% of the time it doesn't matter because the same strategy still works on those attacks too. I'm not sure if it's what the developer intended for me to do, since it feels too easy and it often works best if I don't look at the boss itself, which doesn't seem like what a developer world want. That said, the boss fights are EXTREMELY difficult, if not impossible, to beat without using the running-laps strategy. I tried a bunch of other techniques and strategies and literally nothing else worked 99% of the time.
