I don't think the Army of Darkness or Conan references were utilized correctly.  A reference to an existing media in 'spoof' or homage takes a more nuanced approach, not just copying it word-for-word from the source material.  There are some high points but nothing special.  Would have given it a 2.5 but not an option.  It's definitely not a 3 star effort though.  Better luck with future endeavors.
