This is such a wonderfully devious game, there were so many points when I came right up to the edge of total frustration, only to have a let's say thunderclap moment of revelation right before I gave up. The mechanic of jumping around the house layout trying to figure out where everyone was at what time was incredibly well done and very satisfying to slowly work out.
Onto more spoilery comments:
I'm not surprised that so many other people had the same exact moment of dread around Act 2 where you realise what's happening to these poor people and everything you've read before takes on a sinister new meaning. The moment I realised that the chain started before Rupert Galley was horrifying and I love that the game never reveals exactly how many people have been swallowed up by it. Making the numbering of people a death countdown while never explicitly pointing that out was a wonderful choice, definitely a game that gets more horrifying the more I think about it!
I learned about Type Help from someone discussing the release of The Incident at Galley House, and I'm very excited to buy it and inflict the horror on my friends as well as experience this story again in a new way!
