Hello There

This week I did 1 thing and 1 thing only. Font

Yup I wanted a pixel font. Im using a pixel perfect plugin for the main game and the non pixel font didnt really like it. So I wanted a font. But not any old font. My self made font of course. Now I did have a font I have been using for art like the font you see up there in the devlog picture. Heres how all that looked

Now there are 3 things wrong with this one. (There are more but 3 big ones) 1 there all caps. IM NOT GONNA WRITE ALL THE DIALOGUE LIKE THIS BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE IM YELLING WITH IT. I dont want that. 2 it doesnt have any other key board stuff like "')(^&@ just to type a few. 3 some look goovy so I wanted to rewrite it.

So yay new font idea. Tutoriel after tutoriel  and talking with someone I got a besic Idea for it. So I started drawing all the letters and it looked like this

I think most of these were the final ones. If not..................heh

But this I cant use for the in game dialogue because it isnt in a good location. SO after looking at even more tutoriels I found a website for pixel fonts. for that I need to put them in a list like this

So I removed the background and placed it in the website like the video said. Nothing could go wrong now hehehehehe

Yea seeing that my font was a lil bigger then what the video had I needed to change some stuff. Also I made an mistake with the letters not being at the far left of the boxes. So I changed that like this

and yes the & sign is a :3 in this font your welcome

And now it looks like a normal font

Now when I downloaded the font and placed it in RPG Maker MZ and it didnt work. Didnt know why. After a lil googling I found out that RM MZ uses .WOFF files. Never heard of that before but heh. One file changer later (And some different settings for the font) it was finaly in the game in all his glory. Here he is

So yea I only did the font but dear lord that took me so much longer then what I thought it would take me heh. But I really wanted to get it done first. Before I write dialogue I wanted to font to be there already. Before I draw and menu art I needed to know what font i use for the menu's. Besides making more maps and chibi's that was the lil stop block I needed to fix first. I hope Ill get a lil more done. (Heh even so this devlog was pretty long)
