Hello There
I finaly had one of the clasic I did a decent amount of progess in a few places. Seeing the amount of stuff i got to make for this project its cool to see all the small stuff adding up hehe
The menu system I made for me always felt a but slow. Seeing that I got to block you from going to for instantly I have 10 frames as a wait before you can go further. It worked fine but always bugged me a bit. So I did some experimentation if you will to find a way so once you have moved a space that you dont need to wait 10 frames to press into a sup menu. After some non succesfull tries I found a way to do it. Meaning that the menu is up and running. yay me. (Also I saw while adding these extra event stuff to the menu events I saw that the save menu didnt have any extra protection. Its not that that menu is to bad tho seeing that saving closes the menu but I also gave it the extra protection the other events had to)
Going with the theme I also looked that the blackscreens you get between the sections of the menu. It bugged me that going to the sup menu’s for some reason took a different time then going from the sup menu’s to the main menu. So I looked at that a few times and I found the answer aswell. The teleport even teleported you with a fade out. Seeing that that takes time the teleportation took longer. So I have set both teleporters to the same setting so that the time is the same
Now last time I showed the 6 sup buttons I have to make. So I thought why not start with one thats not to easy nor to hard to start. So I went to the Relic button. Relics are the equipable things you can use to get the upperhand in a battle (Man I sound like a tv add now hehe) Anywho the way I want to menu work is that you got 4 slots to equip whatever Relic you might find in the game. I wanted this menu to look as the 4 slots besides a picture of Stray. With at the bottem 14 other Relics you can equip. You can go to more pages for more Relics if you are having more then 14. So I did some drawing and the menu came together faster then I would have thought cause Its done. Okay well the drawing is done. Here it is in his rawest form

Besides that I also went further on my light testing. Thats me looking at the tile set of every world in game and see what kind of lighting would look good. This time I was at the Resonate world. A mostly red world which needed some warm red light that didnt overpower much. So at the moment it looks like this tho it can and will probably change slightly over the time. Here
