There's a lot of distaste for AI in general, There's also a lot of potential copyright concerns. I love the style of these, but seeing "Please note, that it is partially made with an AI." put me off. Like, how much is AI and how much is actual human effort? I don't really mind AI for things like reference - reference images don't need to be perfect and you can just hit "generate" until something sparks imagination. But, most AI-related art online isn't just using it for reference.
Yeap. This is exactly what puts me off. Some of those are almost hand made, some of those have very little human hand.
IDK. I'm probably gonna finish all the material I have at this moment and then stop. The other problem that there's no reason to have that amount of textures. I mean, you'd need like a week to actually go through all of them and check what works. IMHO, this is just stupid overconsuming and overproduction.
From the other hand, I'm pretty happy about amount to price ratio. It is much more affordable for devs.

I think it might be a combination of two factors.
1) the general rejection of AI mostly by developers and artists (i have seen this on reddit, bsky and similar socials)
2) AI tools are becoming more and more widespread and easier to use, leading pro-AI devs to just create their own assets instead of buying.
Idk just my two cents.
I'm not very much into money. I just want to create cool stuff which gives me fun and sustains me. So, I'm kinda on crossroad here.
