Hi. It would be something like in Pack Vol 128 (last screenshot), but a bit less noise. I guess, you can do simple color with some very settle dodge here and there and overpaint it with some noisy brush.

Sure, why not=) But after month or so. There are already some texture packs awaiting publishing.

Nop. It is partially made with AI, because it is PARTIALLY made with AI=)
Try to generate something like these yourself. And then sort it, and then make it transparent, and then edit.
But, first, try to generate it=) I mean, seriously, this stuff took 5 full days of work.

Lol, obviously. It is stated that this is AI=) Style, it means hand painted style.

So, I've checked, it's all good. When you click Download under this package, new packs are at the very bottom.

Yeah, it is kind of a mess=) If you bought this specific pack, and not a bundle, download section should have all new files. If you bought a bundle with different packs, just let me know. My mail: oleekconder@gmail.com

In this case, everything should be okay. You just download new archives within this page.

Hi. Did you purchase this pack or a bundle?

Hi. Yeah, I have, but they cost like 5-7 times more (Unity, Unreal).
I think, that 1 buck is a limit of a payment system or something.

No, sorry=(
I have a full-time work, university studying and a family. I make these packs just in tiny time windows. I just can't pull off a freelance at this time.

Yeah. That's true even for free stuff. Use in on your own choice=)

Hi. You can use it for any commercial reasons, except for resell.

I'm not very much into money. I just want to create cool stuff which gives me fun and sustains me. So, I'm kinda on crossroad here.

Yeap. This is exactly what puts me off. Some of those are almost hand made, some of those have very little human hand.

IDK. I'm probably gonna finish all the material I have at this moment and then stop.
The other problem that there's no reason to have that amount of textures. I mean, you'd need like a week to actually go through all of them and check what works. IMHO, this is just stupid overconsuming and overproduction.

From the other hand, I'm pretty happy about amount to price ratio. It is much more affordable for devs.

Yeah, that's kinda a deal=) New ones a bit better, though.

I might do a decent pack in the future, made by hand etc. Just need to finish current AI-projects=(

And also, notice for everyone: screenshots contain all textures in original quality. You can just take those to check it beforehand.

Heh, I am=) Kinda... Would love not to use it, because it kills all the fun, and pleasure, and desire, and meaning. But people just stopped to buy handmade assets for reasonable price, and I'm making a living selling assets.

Yeah, other packs were tagged like a year ago.

"People who purchase something deserve to know if it's made by something they dislike morally or don't wish to use."
Ah, you meant all of that in that way...No probs then. I'm not interested to have any collisions with folks=) Just still not sure whether all this anti-AI movement is a thing or not.
But, just take for granted, that everything is made with AI. We're just scratching the surface here, I mean, while using the tools available for the public. Basically, everything from Google to your Internet provider is driven by AI.

Yes, some of the refs are partially AI-generated and were severely edited.
I don't mind to place AI tag, it doesn't make any difference, but:
It is the same as if I would use someone's work and reworked it to the extent that it is not considered as a plagiarism. So, in that case, I wouldn't need to credit the author, and my work would be original. So, if the author of the original reference images was an AI, should I credit it? And why, if you can't prove that it was created by the AI and no one can make any legal claims etc.? It was reworked twice and doesn't remind the original AI-generated image.

Again, I don't mind placing a tag, and I'm not trying to start a holy war or something, but this is the question we need to start to raise at this very moment. Couple of years and everything will be created with AI at some extent.

Like, you take some reference image from Google, and then repaint it, and it just happens to be AI-generated. Do you need a tag? Or, you ask chatGPT to make you a story for your game. Do you need a tag? Or you're just using Copilot for coding. Do you need a tag? And if you don't, why is that? And if you do, where's the line?
Just asking some questions. It will be very important in the near future, when everything goes to s.

Hi. Sure. But it's not AI-generated.
For this pack I'm using https://captain4lk.itch.io/slk-img2pixel, and then rework it by the hand.  That's why it's taking so long to make updates.

Hello. Yes

Very nice. Spent couple hours easy=)
UPD: And some more

Thanks=)

Hi. Yes, this one wasn't. All packs from 1 to 33, and Dungeon Starter Pack and Stylized Nature Textures made without any kind of AI at all.

Thanks=)

Thanks=)

Hello.

Long story short: I want to sell these to every single indie in existence=)
Although my prices are already way too low as to the market standards, they're not to my own.

So, I want to make these as affordable as it could be, but also I want to eat something once in a while=)

If it reaches the goal till the end of May, I will make this price permanent, or even less.

Hello. Thanks=)
What do you mean by Masks?

(1 edit)

Hi. Thanks=)
Actually, you can do that. Just use tag no-AI. And if you still see some of my packs, that's because it was made without AI.

Hi. Thanks=)
As far as I know, you can't do that. I mean, AI-models mostly trained for 1024 resolution, and then you upscale generated textures to 2048. And then you make them seamless, because upscaling messing with the seams. After it done, you can't just upscale and make some minor changes, you'd need to redo seams and all the maps.

As for the making 4096 from scratch, when you ask AI to generate patterns of lesser scale, nothing happens. It doesn't understand=( It has kinda of DPI or something, so to scale a pattern you need to switch to 2048 resolution, and AI just bad at that resolution. And, of course, you'd need to upscale that image to 4096. And even if you've managed to make a decent small scale pattern in 1024, you need to upscale to 4096, which is troubling itself.

So, at this point, I can see only one solution: generate some normal 1024 texture, then make some variations of that texture using AI (it can do that), stitch 4 textures together to get 2048, upscale to 4096, and make it seamless (that would be twice an amount of job).

As to my taste, a better solution would be just to make a lot of similar textures to mix them. That's what I do in the recent packs.

Though, I will try to do 4096=) I'm interested myself.

Hi, sure. Done. In the folder Tiles0Textures

Thanks=)

Hi. Sure, every texture in every pack is tileable.

Hi. Thanks. Sure. Done=)

Hi. Sure you can

Thanks. No problems=) Hope, these are ok. Not sure about the texture of the rug with animal patters, I mean, it is still a carpet, not fur. If you need fur, please tell me (but I'm not sure if I can pull it off the right way, yet)

Sure. Sorry, I've forgotten to add it...=)

Nice. Thanks. I'll definitely try to do that.

Hi. Sure, I'll try=) If you have something particular in mind, please leave a link in the comments. Pinterest will be perfect.

Thanks=)

Hi, sure=)
