Hey everyone! Quick update on Velocity Vortex. The level is finally coming together, and it’s feeling like a true speedrunner’s playground. I’ve been fine-tuning the layout to keep movement fast and fluid, with multiple routes for different playstyles.
Now, I’m adding targets throughout the map. Some are in easy spots, while others will test your aim mid-slide or mid-air. The goal is to make shooting feel just as important as movement, without breaking the flow.
Next up, I’m working on a no-ground system—touch the ground, and you’re out. That means wall-runs, slides, and mid-air tricks will be your only way forward. I’ll be tweaking mechanics to make sure it’s challenging but fun.
Coming soon: better target hitboxes, smoother movement, and maybe even leaderboards. Stay tuned!
