Back again, with more dungeon work. Randomly generating rooms are hard, not only because you need to make sure they're all the right size, but also because you need to make sure they're in the right place. I talked about this in my last post, but I'll make it even more clear now.
Making sure it all works out is quite hard, because you not only need to figure out where the room is going to go, but also what's around it. If there's a room with no door, you don't want to spawn a room WITH a door next to it, ya feel me?
And to do this, there are a few ways, but each one is quite a process. Without too many boring details, it mostly requires you to know which rooms have doors in which positions, and make them accordingly. BUT, you also need to account for rooms that are oddly shaped, like long, L shaped, and double sized rooms. All in all, it really is a hassle getting all this to work
