Enemy Ragdoll - By Robert Poore

We are making really good progress with our enemies. We have new functionality including a melee and sounds. We still have some VFX to implement too, but we pushed hard to get some enemy ragdoll working. A majority of it works, however we did have some complications. Our enemy falls apart on death, but the torso and limbs attached seem to make the body go crazy with physics.

To correct this issue, we need to look into the physics attached to the skeleton. This is a bit of a new area for me, but from what I can make out, it could be one of two issues. Either the physics settings on these bones are incorrect, or, more likely, the pieces of the bones are stuck inside of each other and the force to exit the colliding pieces is not strong enough to break the connection, resulting in a wacky body flail. For now, we will just delete the corpse after two seconds to minimize the weirdness, but it will need addressed in the future. We will also try it with other models to see if they have the same issues.
