Type Race will be a fun little game for players to practice their typing skills. Here is a brief description of how it works.

Type Race is a 1v1 player vs player game, both players will start with the exact same passage, same word and everything. First to finish typing their passage wins.

Rules:

1. In Type Race, each time a player messed up on typing a word, whether if it is missing the capitalization or typing the wrong letter in that word, the computer will immediately roll a dice, they will have additional word added to the end of their passage and the amount of added words corresponds with the number on the dice roll. Therefore, accuracy is key.

2. Every 15 seconds the game will flip a coin for each player. (players could see it on the side of their screen)

3. When the coin lands heads, the player will have an opportunity to type a random challenging word for the reward of adding five extra words at the end of their opponent's passage.

4. When the coin lands tails the player will have an opportunity to type a random challenging word, for the reward of having no capitalization or special characters such as comma, apostrophe, etc, for the next 10 seconds, the timer starts when the player finish typing the challenging word.

5. The players could accept the opportunity presented by the coins by pressing the enter button.

6. When a player messes up on the challenging word, they lose the opportunity.

7. Players could also choose to ignore the coin flip.

8. The added on words will be all 5 letter words randomly chosen by the computer.

I hope to one day create this game for people to play, as I know there are people looking to improve their typing skills but want to have a bit of fun during the process. This game could be compared to a game like Mario Kart where players receive random power ups or sabotages for them or their opponent.
